A rare opportunity to run one of Melbourne’s best Boutique Hotels. Middle Park Hotel is seeking a Venue Manager to develop and lead our team. Our Hotel is a multifaceted venue that offers Accommodation with 25 modern rooms, fine dining with a seasonal menu offering & private dining room.

The role requires an experienced hospitality professional that can lead a large team to deliver exceptional experiences to our accommodation guests & F&B patrons in the venue. A proactive, hands-on approach coupled with a strong work ethic and attention to detail is essential for this role.

Essential requirements:

• Possess previous experience in a similar role and have a background in accommodation settings
• Enjoy being hands-on in the day-to-day operation and lead by example, creating an environment where your team is encouraged and motivated to perform at their best
• Solid experience in managing, training, motivating, and developing teams
• A drive to achieve sales budgets and maximize profitability across F&B as well as accommodation
• Have a strong financial understanding of wage costing & P&L's
• Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss
• Work with and communicate effectively to all departments within the Head Office team
• Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully

This role will report to the Senior Operations Manager & State Manager. Working closely with operational departments to support and drive the hotel to achieve customer service and operational excellence.
